The reunion committee has selected the site of the 2017 reunion — the Crowne Plaza San Diego.

Crowne Plaza San Diego
2270 Hotel Circle North
San Diego, CA 92108

The reunion will get underway with the opening of the hospitality room at 1600 hours on 20 April. The hospitality room will be open throughout the reunion and the USS Conserver model and other memorabilia will be available for viewing.

There will be a variety of optional area attractions and activities available from which reunion attendees can choose; we’ll provide a list of those destinations in future communications.

An all hands business meeting will be scheduled during which we’ll discuss business related to future reunions.

A gala dinner will be held Saturday at 1800, 22 April. The dinner will include a raffle and silent auction, and the entertainment will be the same as the past three reunions, the sharing of our best stories.

  1. A cool site to visit while in Charleston is the CSS Hunley. Worlds first Combat Submarine!
Hunley tours are available every Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM and Sunday Noon – 5 PM. Last tour begins at 4:40 PM. Tours are not available on weekdays

  2. Dale’s right everyone; we can double or even triple our attendance for this 3rd reunion if we put our minds to it! Looking forward to a great time at this one. They all seem to get better and better. See you in Charleston!

  3. Shipmates. Since I live in the Charleston area, I will help you out with special needs and requests. If you need information on anything around Charleston, let me know. I’ll be glad to help.

  4. Lots of lead time this year. It’s time to start contacting all your Conserver shipmates that aren’t on Facebook or members of this website and let them know about the next reunion. If you attended the last reunion in Las Vegas, let them know how good it was . Let’s all pitch in and double the attendance in Charleston.
